Raisen a very pretty staffy
RAISEN - SMALL RED BRINDLE STAFFY LADY IN NEED OF ADOPTION. Hiya my new name is Raisen and what a lovely name it is too! My friend has called me this name as I am a wonderful Reddish Brindle colour. I am very unusual and small and pocket sized. I love people and have been good around other dogs at the rescue. I am approx 4 years to 5 years old and love to climb on your knee for cuddles - if you let me of course. I am a typical staffy that craves love and adores being fussed and stroked - all day if you let me. I came into care as a stray so although there is no history on my past life it appears I have been well loved and socialised. Sadly I now have to find myself a new home where I will be adored, cherished and cared for until I grow old and grey. I am looking for a home that have time for exercise, walks and cuddles. I need a home where I will not be left all day alone as this would make be sad!! Kennel life is no place for a cuddle monster.

HOPE - NEGLECTED AND VERY EMACIATED YOUNG DOG. URGENT APPEAL FOR ANOTHER BROKEN SOUL THIS CHRISTMAS.
Hope is another abandoned and seriously malnourished stray dog. We were asked to help this poor young girl by the dog wardens. Hope is skin and bone and very shut down due to the serious neglect she has endured. We as always would like to say at the hands of a human however we do not consider anyone human that is capable of mistreating any animal. Hope is loving and friendly and despite her endurance she is making great progress. This poor broken young dog is so thin and skeletal she struggles to sit down due to the pain of having no flesh on her legs at all. We urgently need help and we are constantly reaching out for kind rescue minded humans to help and support us with foster homes. Dogs like Hope cannot remain in council kennels and we as a small charity are now struggling with kennel spaces due to the sheer volume of mistreated, neglected and abandoned stray dogs in Yorkshire. Hope is one of many this Christmas. She is loving and friendly. Due to being so emaciated and on such a low ebb we have been unable to access her properly with other dogs. She is truly broken and one of the worse cases of neglect we have seen. Hope loves people and we are desperately trying to find her a home or foster home as a matter of urgency. If you can help then please read on.
WHAT HOME DOES HOPE NEED?
Hope needs a dedicated and loving human to help her heal. This will not only be physically but also mentally. Hope has so much love to give and we are her lifeline at the moment to a brighter and happy life. Due to serious cruelty this youngster needs a calmer and gentle environment where she can desensitise. Ideally we need a home that is local to us in Yorkshire or surrounding counties. This is so we can be on hand to offer support if and when needed. This also means that Hope can remain under our charity care with our veterinary practices. If she recovers in a foster home we will continue to advertise Hope and arrange meet and greets for potential adopters to meet her. If we placed Hope at the other side of the country the distance would be impossible for us as a smaller charity to manage. Hope ideally needs a home as an only dog so she can be assessed properly with other animals once better and a healthy happy dog. We would consider foster or adoption with a family with older children however not babies. Hope is a true heartbreaker and our spirits along with Hopes are flattened at the moment. This poor sweet girl has been abused, neglected beyond belief. She needs, time, patience, lots of company and a very very special human. If you feel you can support us by offering a temporary foster home or a forever home then please send in an application with essential details about you and your lifestyle. At the bottom of this page there is an adopt me button. Please click this and it will take you to a form to complete. Hope needs help immediately. Our charity is passionate, hands on and dedicated in helping stray dogs in Yorkshire find the life they deserve.
Please contact us at Good Life with information about yourself and the home you can offer. We work hard to match our adopters and dogs together ensuring that humans and hounds are very happy. We encourage adoption and invite anyone with misconceptions of rescue dogs to come and meet some very special dogs with huge characters and love to give. We are very active in the work we do and are very dedicated to the welfare of the dogs in our care and the Yorkshire strays. We have no staff and exist as a volunteer based charity. Support is always greatly received.
Rescue dogs have often suffered difficult lives and some form of trauma or abandonment. We ask people to consider the huge commitment and lifestyle change of owning and adopting a dog. Rescue dogs often need time to settle back into a home. This can take at least four to five weeks for dogs to feel settled and more secure. If you are dedicated and understand that all rescue dogs need time to adjust then we would love to hear from you.
